Ceramic Wall Shell - Medium #003

Hand-made and decorated ceramic shells from South African artist Lucie de Moyencourt. Each shell is one of a kind, unique in size, shape and painted surface, making them very collectible.

Fabulous as a bold one-off statement piece, or absolutely stunning when grouped together, the shells are made in either porcelain, stoneware or terracotta clay. 

The shells are best suited for wall hanging as they are wavy and undulating.  Each shell is fitted with a custom brass wire wall hanging device ready for hanging. The wire work is done by Zimbabwean artist George Magaso.

Due to the nature of ceramics, micro cracks in the glaze might occur over time.
