Jess Wheeler is a designer and artist based between North Wales and London, working across a variety of disciplines — from set design to homeware — with a unified, nostalgic, nature-driven narrative that runs through everything she makes. Her work aims to remind the viewer of the beauty and fragility of the natural world, and her cross-disciplinary approach gives it a depth and consistency that purely product-focused work rarely achieves.

Sustainability is central to her practice. Jess works with brass — one of the most recycled metals in the world, and significantly more energy-efficient to recycle than to produce from new. Her work has a conscience as well as an aesthetic, and is designed to transcend seasonality. These are not trend pieces. They are objects made to be kept.
