Since 1948, the Jean Roger workshop in Paris has been creating art ceramics using the earthenware technique known as grand feu — literally "great fire," a high-temperature firing process that produces the particularly deep, bright and shimmering glazes the workshop has become known for. Three generations of the family have succeeded one another at the wheel and the kiln, each one committed to renewing a creativity rooted in nature and artistic heritage without abandoning the standards and precision the technique demands.

The result is a style of ceramics that is immediately recognisable — vivid, joyful and full of character.
