Son Mai lacquer has been made in Vietnam for over a thousand years. The Lacquer Company takes that tradition and puts it in the hands of the world’s most admired interior designers — Rita Konig, Peter Mikic, Veere Grenney, Campbell-Rey and more — to create objects that are genuinely worth owning.

Handmade by artists in Vietnam. Not spray painting. Multiple layers of natural lacquer, wet-sanded between each coat, polished by hand to a depth and finish that cannot be achieved any other way. Pieces that will last, improve with age, and keep an ancient craft alive.
