An original hand-painted miniature of a Maharaja on a galloping camel, with a tiger alongside. Made in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in the Udaipur Mewar style of painting, on genuinely old paper. The painting itself is approximately 70 to 80 years old: a freehand sketch by a master painter, made in single-line brushwork with natural pigments and touches of gold on the saddle and costume, inside a ruled border.

Each piece is hand-painted, so there will never be another exactly like it. Each carries the marks of the painter's hand.
