Ischia Tablecloth

A hand block printed cotton tablecloth in a soft blue check on white. The squares are printed block by block, so the blue pools and fades a little from one to the next, which gives the cloth a washed look that machine printed checks don't have. Made in Jaipur, India.

This is a sample piece, printed in a small run so we can see which designs you love. If it sells well we will reorder it, but we would rather make too little than too much, so it may not come back. If you love it, don't wait.

This cloth has a small mark, shown in the photos, which is why it is priced lower.

Product Details:

• Dimensions: 150cm x 280cm
• Material: 100% cotton
• Technique: Hand block printed, natural dyes
• Origin: Jaipur, India
• Care: Wash alone before first use, in cold water with a little mild detergent. Gentle cycle or by hand, no soaking, no bleach and no tumble drying. Dry in the shade. Iron on the reverse side while slightly damp. Dry cleaning is best

The dyes are natural, so expect some fading and a little colour in the water over the first washes. Wash it once before you use it, on its own and in cold water. In the warmer months tap water in the UAE can run warm, so check it is properly cool before the cloth goes in, or dry clean it instead. Keep it out of direct sun when drying, which fades natural dyes faster than washing does.

Stain note
This cloth has one small stain shown in the last photo. The rest of the cloth is clean and the stain is small, so we have priced it lower rather than hide it. If you would rather have a perfect one, tell us and we will let you know if the design comes back.
