Henry and Camilla started The Vintage List in 2015 out of a specific frustration. Hunting through English antique markets and salerooms, they kept finding beautiful 19th and early 20th century glassware — and kept running into the same problems: it was fragile, it clouded, it couldn't go near a dishwasher, and once a piece broke it was gone. So they set out to reproduce those old designs as glass you could actually live with.

Every piece is mouth-blown into moulds and then hand-engraved on fast-turning wheels — the same slow, skilled process behind the antiques that inspired it, which is why no two glasses come out quite identical. The patterns are drawn from classic English designs: lens, star, oval, spear motifs cut into fine crystal. But the crystal itself is lead-free, dishwasher-safe and made to keep its sparkle, which means it sits as easily on an everyday table as a formal one.

That balance — antique looks, modern practicality — has taken their work well beyond a niche. The Vintage List is now stocked by Liberty of London, among others, and their engraved glass has become a quiet favourite for people who want their table to feel elevated without being precious about it.
