For over 30 years Lucy Cope has designed hand-blown English crystal match strikes — jewel-coloured spheres collared in sterling silver that carries a full London hallmark and her own LCL maker's mark, the same assay marks you find on fine English silver. Each one is hand-cut in its own colour and pattern, so no two are identical. Strike a match against the textured rim and it does exactly what it was built to do, then it sits on the table looking like it was made for nothing but admiration.

Working from an innate sense of colour and form, Lucy makes pieces that cross the divide between traditional and contemporary — crystal placed in some of the most prestigious houses in the world by world-class interior designers.

Every piece is hand-blown in England by a team of highly skilled craftspeople, each individually recognised in their own field — the blowing, the cutting, the silver work handled as separate skilled stages rather than a single production line.
