Piña Michoacána (Glazed Pineapple Urn) - Wide Green - 40cm

A wide Piña Michoacána in a deep olive green glaze with a bronze sheen across the leaves. Handcrafted using the pastillaje technique, it has a hand-modelled leaf crown rising from a broad, smooth lid with a mirror-like gloss, a beaded collar beneath it, and overlapping leaves with incised veins and beaded edges that stand proud of the smooth glazed body. Each piece is modelled by hand by artists from San José de Gracia, Tangancícuaro, in Michoacán, Mexico.

Each piece is handcrafted individually, meaning no two are exactly alike. Slight variations in colour, shape, and hand-painted detail are part of its character.
