Iznik ceramics are among the most celebrated in the world — a tradition of hand-painted earthenware developed in the town of Iznik in northwestern Turkey, reaching its peak in the 16th and 17th centuries and continuing to be practised by skilled artisans today.

The pieces we carry at The Voyage Dubai are painted entirely by hand in the traditional Iznik manner featuring intricate floral motifs and designs. Each piece takes many hours to paint. The results are objects of genuine beauty that, treated with care, will last for generations.
